Participants will be introduced to a wide variety of public records and social media websites to obtain information on individuals and obtain the basic understanding they need to conduct cyber-based investigations.
This course will walk you through practical examinations using real life examples in hands-on exercises.
Participants will be able to better utilize search engines and conduct online searches more efficiently while learning research techniques and tricks of the investigative trade.
What each student receives:
- Participants will receive a full workbook of practicals as well as a list of recommended research sites.
- A laptop with an internet connection will be provided for live use in class.
